Another epic review. Love the broad expanse of music you use, and the emotionality of your writing somehow makes me relate, even more so, to what you are actually hearing! Bravo, and thanks again for the top notch review. BTW, I agree with everything you said. As an example, tried the Orphy, and it didn't quite suit. Probably contrary to what most are using, I'm sure, I've settled on the Fusion1 as the cable for my AP. Go figure! Thanks again!

Owning MM and Traillii I had a deep interest in auditioning the AP, so I’m very grateful for the thorough comparisons provided.
It’s really cool that UM fixed the treble coming from MM, but thick mid bass is still an issue for me, along with a tad plasticness in bass timbre and not the most airiest highs or widest stage, so I’ll stick with the Bird for now.

Legendary writeup man. Enjoyed reading it thoroughly and may upgrade one day from Ronin to AP. But that price tag is definitely a hard pill to swallow.

Fantastic review and I am sympathizing with your descriptions.
Am liking Amber Pearl fed by N30LE very much for its punchy and textured bass, great mids timbre and imaging.
Its tuning is engaging but not fatiguing for longterm listening.
I found tips to have a critical influence on signature especially bass and upper mids to treble.
I currently ended up using stock Sedna Crystals as these have the most open top end and slightly reducing bass compared to other tips I've tried.

According to your cable suggestions Shirogane sounds like the best choice for further opening the top end as I feel it's non fatiguing on one hand but less exiting on the other at least using the stock cable.
Do you have other (more affordable) cable suggestions for getting a similar tuning as an upgrade to the stock cable?

But man this combo is the best sound I ever heard from an iem , it puts all other gear I own into place , I’m talking about 40% better then the cayin n8ii with mentor

The bass is strong, lots of mid bass, it takes few min to get used to, it is even for me was a little over powering , but very good full fast deep the mid OMG magestic just perfect mid all guitar and vocal was unbelievable , the highs are perfect the imaging the best I’ve heard stage is enormous especiallly very deep much deeper then anything I ever heard, the shell itself is very beautiful really work of art it’s transparent so you can see the drivers but also African wood it’s very beautiful and the sound is out of this world ; but it’s very very very very expensive
