What would you compare the bass to? How hard and deep does it hit.

Am assuming you mean the silver filter?  I don't have the DN-1000 with me at the moment, so have to compare to the Altone200.  Mid bass is a similar level to the Altones.  Low bass in the Altones is a bit deeper, lower and has more impact than the Techne though.  Does that help?

Great review as always Brooko. How would these compare to the Dunu Titan 1's? I have already pledged for the Techne package and I'm getting excited.

Thanks.  To me the Titans play in a different (higher) league.  I'd put the Techne at the same level as the likes of the Havi B2 Pro1 though - so it is a pretty good IEM.  The Titans are more the level of the Delta.

Brooko, thanks for the review. I pledged for all 3 models, but am wondering about the Techne and how it is worn. I'm sure you're familiar with Audeos PFE series, which these bear a striking resemblance. I've seen some pictures that show these worn in the opposite direction than the Audeos, and that strikes me as odd. How do these sit in ear in the proper L/R configuration? 

It's supposed to be worn like the PFE's.  I'll add a photo (from Bob) above with correct wearing style.  Look in the Fit/Comfort/Isolation section

OK good, because I saw a picture somewhere with them worn opposite of that and it alarmed me. Thanks for the clarification!

@Brooko between the hyperion, techne & vyrus which one of these has the best bass and clarity??
