I too noticed that 'live' feel, which I felt drew me in. The spatial qualities of the Starsea are phenonemal and way beyond any IEM I have. Great review.

@Nimweth How would you describe the TRI Starsea’s resolution? Is it like hearing the minute details of a recording?

Well I think my review refers to that but yes, resolution is exceptionally good, in fact the best of all the IEMs I have. Fine details are wonderfully reproduced.

Did the dd need burn in or the ba? I’m using this right now.

All the components benefit from burn in. BAs, like DDs, have moving parts and mechanical components.
