@Strifeff7 comment: "need a comparison with other iem," good point and I aim to do a comparison. Unfortunately I do not have a similar IEM to compare, but I will do a write up with other IEMs in due course.

Thanks for the comment, it is constructive and helpful.

Having listened to the TRi Starlight I would say they have the most detailed treble I have heard...in a good way. Anybody who likes classical music or music that needs to hear extreme details, will find this IEM a revelation. The other amazing feature is the beautiful timbre every note has.

It is described as special customized earphone, what does it mean? What they can customize?

It means you order the earphones and they make them for you. I am not sure what you can request, except that I requested no writing ...and no symbols...( thanks @Redcarmoose for the correction) on the earphones and that is what I got. Check with the seller, there might be more.

I just received my Starlight today. Everything you mentioned about the details of instruments and the separation is spot on. I'm new to the audiophile hobby, and i think I already found my endgame!

It is easy to drive?
ChrisOc
ChrisOc
@Darkeye999H, I have to say, it is a "Yes" and "No".

Yes, you get a lot from driving these without much amplification, mostly because of the clarity and detail retrieval of the drivers BUT the better the amplification the better you are rewarded by the Starlights, there is much more to be had with good amplification, especially in the bass region.

I just got my Starlights in today. Very impressed so far. I immediately swapped cables and tips because I wanted a balanced solution. I installed a Linsoul LSC-08 that I had on hand and some Sedna tips that seem to work well. I first tried them on my Fiio M11 on high gain and I really had to crank the volume to get decent level but they sounded nice. I then tried them on a Cayin N3 Pro and that seems to have plenty of juice for them. They do need a decent DAP/Amp to get the best from them like @ChrisOc mentioned.

Can a LG V50 push it?
ChrisOc
ChrisOc
I have not had the opportunity to use the LG V50, although I have heard good things about LG phones. As always if you use what you have on hand at the first instance (you will get good sound) and when your resources allow, try using an more powerful amplifier (500 mw/32 ohms and upwards) or a DAP with more power, the dynamic driver will reward you with better quality bass, for the additional power, plus (depending on the source) the scene will be more expansive giving you better stage. Unless, you have the resources ready to commit to buying another source, don't rush it, you will be fine with most sources and as I understand it the LG V50 is no slouch.

The warning of "treble sensitive" has sense. But it has it in this way for me.

The first time that I heard my starlight was really painful.... My hears were bleeding because of the female vocal and instruments like the plates of the battery and so on.... But, I don't know what happened... The burning of the iems or Maybe the losing hearing capacities made these non violent and painful. This happened around 8 hours of one day... Maybe the next day they will shine even more.

In an other order of things, after the reconversion of the treble, they are by far the more impressive audio system that I ever have had. But I don't feel confident to do a review cus it seems there more path in order to discover and understand them.

is starlight suitable for energetic genre of music, such as metal, progressive death metal, classic orchestra ????
AlexxxAA85
AlexxxAA85
@KarmaPhala i don't listen to too much high energy music anymore like progressive death metal. Probably the hardest metal tracks i have in my library right now is Avenged Sevenfold and the first Chemical Romance album. But i still listen to a lot of rock like Audioslave that has some very loud transitions and a lot of power. I have also recently started to listen to a lot of Electronic like Yookie and Zhu, which have bunch of bass, and fast high notes. The Starlight handles any music i throw at it beautifully. I only listen to the starlight a few times a week when i want to spoil my ears with great sound. If i listen to any other iem after the Starlight on the same day, they all sound Low-fi in comparison. Even some Andromeda Gold i just got. The Starlight are just amazing at separating the instruments and sounds and makes them all clear. They are incredible iems for the price.

Thank you ChrisOc for your sound impressions.
So strange nobody else reviews and seems to spend some time commenting or reviewing TRI 'totl' iem Starlight. I have had some tri hybrids I(LZ A7, Volt and TSMR Land; and GK10 too, eventually) and they all sound attractive and detailed in the acoustic music I use to listen to, they all sound good, a step forward in their price segment to me and my knowledge. Waiting for 2021 11/11 looking for some good occasione for TRI Starlight

@Alino, thank you for your taking the time to comment. I am pleased to hear that you are considering the Starlights. Just so that you are aware, some who bought the Starlights have reported sensitivity to the highs, I believe it is the 8k region. Some used EQ to tame the peak and have enjoyed using the Starlights after that.

Others, me included have no such issues. This to make you aware before you buy them. I think they are fantastic.
