I just ordered my A90 with custo XLR wire from three different companies- WE WILL SEE or should I say hear! Thanks for the review!

ok so I have the A90 in my stack for a few days now- impression is super clean dead silent background at any volume, no hiss or hum - a perfect mate for Topping D90- no bloat in bass or in midrange or in highs- which makes it a bit of a boring pairing with D90- but reference boring- clean and free of fatigue and free of sibilant distortions- but not as fun as a Class A Amp like my Pass WHAMMY w/ dual OPA627s- the PASS adds a bit more to mid bass and bass region making it a bit more musical- and my Bottlehead Crack w/SB is still tops with Sen HD600 for musicality - I actually went to a friends home with both A90+D90 he confirmed the Whammy is better- even though its a kit with upgraded OPA627s - he said it sounds as good as $3K amp which he said it would cost if it were retail. He didnt hate the A90 but it wasn't as musical and engaging - so mine is going back - I wish I could afford both b/c I really like the XLR and 4.4 balanced connectors- the A90 is very very good-
