Listening to my pair of Serratus (modified to be 30ohms) with my PAW6000 and I cannot help but post a resounding agreement with what you have written.
What you wrote about centre staging/imagine really resonates with me and was one of the things I noticed immediately. Very much speaker like, or even better very natural and convincing.
I am a bass head and I agree these are not bass head earbuds but these support at least 80% of my library and present it better than I have heard before.
I have my TGXEARS Tofino for when I need more warm sound signature.
