"Don’t change a thing.  Maybe reissue this model with a replaceable cable – that would be perfect "

Considering that the removable cable is found on their father, the H-300. Are you openly saying that if they put removable cable and accessories, they'd deserve to be called H-400 instead of H-300?

Unfortunately I haven't heard the H300 - so it's not a comment I am qualified to make at this time. What I am saying is that these are so good (to my tastes) that I actually paid T-Peos this morning for them. That should be endorsement enough - as I could have easily just kept the sample at no charge.

You should listen to H-300.

I told Sunggoo about the removable cable a couple weeks ago and he said it's a possibility that will highly depend on how well the Altone 200 sells. So there's something to look forward to...

I think it's going to sell very, very well :)  Just updated review with frequency graph (thanks to Sunggoo for providing it)

Excellent, detailed, and comprehensive review!
Hopefully you have the chance to try DN-1000 using the eartips from JVC HA-FXD80. It's a different beast with the JVC eartips.

Thanks - I'll do some research on those tips and see if I can get a pair.

These sound interesting. Just wish quality control was better.  Probably best to stick with my DN-1000 until they get all of the kinks worked out.

Luke got info from them yesterday.  They've traced the fault to an internal cable blocking one of the vents.  Fix is in progress.  Units being shipped in future should be good to go.

You said you use the t-400, I was sold the t-500 by a shop in korea and I have terrible sound isolation. Is this due to the wrong size tip? The sound is fine, but seriously the isolation is not very much, I haven't used Comply's in a while, but there is no isolation compared to the more common Shure Olives that I use.
