Hello, congratulations on your reviews. They all have an epic, sensationalist and fun feel to them. The whole mix makes your articles different, engaging, not without grandiloquence and sparkle. Very different from the linearity of mine.
In this case, a doubt arises in my mind. I thought I understood that you noticed similarities between the Faaeal Hibiscus and the SuperTFZ Force1. According to my ears and my measurements, the differences are great. But my Force1 doesn't have that hole on the side of the mouthpiece. Can that hole lighten the bass area to such a large degree?

Actually, I find more similarity between the Meow and the Hibiscus:

Wow, I’m only talking about the simple Hibiscus cable? I also only listed the price of the cable to help delineate the fact that it’s just a cable I was referring to, not the IEM and cable.

The cable was chosen due to simply being a random cable that had 4.4mm termination. Also the cable went and brought up the Force 1 sonics almost equal to the included cable, yet I was using (obviously) 3.5mm port/cable with the included cable, and 4.4mm with the Hibiscus cable. So.....that helped me give some points to the included cable. As such the included cable is not that bad, though many in use get the best performance from 4.4mm balanced output of our DAPs. So a change of plug is wanted.

I did read your review between the time I posted my review and now. I know that you stated no nozzle hole, to release pressure. I thought I saw it in one photo? But the nozzle area is not clear in your grouping of pictures. I’m not saying your pictures are not clear just that by chance you didn’t capture the area of the nozzle that would have had the vent.

Sorry I don’t know what to tell you about the vent? It acts as a pressure release, so the ear canal doesn’t absorb the pressure. Many IEMs have two, some one in my experience? One IEM that didn’t (have any valves) wasn’t that good?

Thank-you for the complements. :) I’m not exactly sure what the vent does to the sound. Typically though it makes the bass more vibrant as it givea the pressure a way out, which allows the diaphragm to move more free. But there is two, a back vent and a front, so we are dealing with two areas of the driver structure.

I added (cable) in another area to make it clear double or triple clear that the cable not the IEM and cable was used. Note that was in the cable rolling section, but you are right I talk about the Hibiscus cable in other areas too. So, I added another the word “cable”.

Thank-you again!

You are totally right, there were many places where I had to add the word cable. I just assumed earlier in the review that people would understand I was using the Hibiscus Cable, as it’s incredibly popular as a cable purchase by itself. Though probably better to tame brighter IEMs, than to add clarity to smoother, warmer ones.

Thank-you!

Well, maybe one answer would have sufficed.... I see you are impulsive like me... hahaha.
Anything goes to clarify the facts.
By the way, the Hibiscus cable is good, too bad I don't have it in BAL version.
Regards and thanks for the clarifications.

That's right, you are right. But it's not a criticism at all. You are free to write as much as you want... by all means...

Changing the subject and alluding to your avatar... I'm sure you know what this is...
It's a picture of me in Figueres...
