nice review Nikolaus! thanks for exploring the Esther Analog in detail and giving us your informed  comparisons to other units and evaluation of where it stands in the DAP world!  that sound quality sounds gorgeous!  thanks for the comparisons to the Aune M2 and Mojo also! its interesting how each player has its strengths and weakness....and they are all in about the same price range...
as Mark Twain said, "you pays your money and you takes your choice".....thanks for keeping us
