I've used the pha-3 for 4-5 months. Great device indeed and I don't have any question to its balanced output but the unbalanced single output is really weak in comparison. What was the reason to make them so different in power 100 mW vs 320 mW. Once you tried the balanced connection you will never go back to the unbalanced one - means that you should make all your headphones balanced which is not possible sometimes...
