I just received a unit from a local enthusiast and I gotta say that I like it more than IE600 I think this is the best single DD I've heard so far. this TI Turii reminds me of SM2 or vice versa lol. I think you must try this set because I need to hear your take on it. it's weird that it's not popular anywhere.

Terrific review, and lovely photography! I can't wait to hear the Turri Ti's based largely on your impressions.

Finally someone write about it, it has been one of my favorite earphone since its release, orchestra on this is fire.

@Bosk - thank you, glad you enjoyed! Hope you get to try it sometime!
@royiko - I'm not sure actually, I know not unusual though for the same driver to be used in sets of very different levels.
@Jeozer - yes a set that definitely deserves more recognition. I really struggle to listen to any other set since Turii Ti came into my life!

Wow, $2500 for a single DD IEM. Way out of my league, but would love to hear how much better it is than my couple of $1-400 IEM's!

I like how you wrapped the cord around the toy goat and in the description called it the goat...
I wonder why they only made 88... at $2400 you would think these would be flying off of the shelf for xmas gifts

yea, if you look at the materials alone, this is worth a lot... compared to some of the plastic counterparts

Btw Scuba Devil... Awesome review!!!

Wonderful review! Soundstage, timbre and coherency are characteristics that certainly makes these an intriguing set to demo. I too appreciated the genre confidence scale. A great way to illustrate where this IEM excels. Awesome job Scuba!

I realise looks aren't that important but damn they are ugly! I swear my dad had cufflinks like that in the seventies.

Having heard both Turii Ti and Perpetua, I can tell the Ti has got the edge over Perpetua in resolution, soundstage and tonal accuracy. It's such an awe-inducing thing to listen to, and perhaps deservingly the title
@Scuba Devils Great review! I find reading it captures well what Turii Ti has to offer. I was wondering if you could provide a bit more comparison between the Twilight and Ti or TZ700? Do you think the soundstage is smaller? How about the resolution on the Twilight?

@ranfan - not surprised you enjoyed Turii Ti! Soundstage and resolution steps up a lot from Twilight to Ti - the technical leap is very noticeable, but it doesn't render Twilight redundant as its a smoother listen and definitely both hold a place in my collection. I'm away from home for the next week so can't a/b TZ700 unfortunately but Ti I would say has quite a bit larger and more holographic soundstage - TZ700 again complementary as you get that huge deep sub bass. I do find Ti a generally big upgrade on TZ00 though.

I must suck at googling because I can't find any specs on the driver. I am pretty sure that the most important thing in a IEM or headphone is the driver. Found oodles of techno jargon on the cables, connectors, aluminum, titanium, machining, plating and even ear tips. The only spec for the driver is "Single Dynamic Driver". There is however lots of literature for the drivers of lower end models. Funny.

The King of DD-es for sure. Actually, it made this hobby for me being boring

Oooh you have the 04! I have the 03 Your review is spot on! The naturalness of the Turii Ti is amazing!
@hevelaoak - I was just reading a review on the SM2 a few days ago, seems a very interesting set and on the list. I have the Ikko OH5 coming next which I'm excited to try.
