How open does MG600 sound compared to open back headphones like HD6XX or Ananda?

Thanks mate!! Glad you liked the write-up. That would be a comparison between apples and oranges hehe. HD6xx when paired with a good amp has better midrange, and MG600 will showcase better bass punch. ANanda feels more spacious IMO. But like I said a comparison between apples and oranges.

Yes, that's not a fair comparison. I like earbuds a lot but unfortunately they don't fit my ears. That's why looking for open sounding IEMs with open back design.

What kind of sound signature do you prefer? It's a tough battle between the MG600 and the Meze Advar, I like both of them, but it's difficult to choose between them.

I prefer single DD with warmer, smooth sound without any peaks or sibilance. My sources are portable - RS6, PM2+NX7 and Mojo 2. Desktop - EF400 and TA-26.
