+ points for talking about age related hearing loss (indirectly)  and a bit in one ear in particular. Folks who read these reviews come from far and wide and you nailed it length and content wise. You LOST me with the "forehead" part ...lol I can't describe the "out of your head" feeling from ma900 so  I get it. The no battery indication and rather big size leaves me still looking for small footprint amp/dac but this was a good read.

@puppyfi: Good question.  I'll get back to you on that one.  I've been pairing the B1 almost exclusively with the tour VE Zen (absolutely amazing earbuds, btw!) out of my X5.  Let me hook it up to my iPhone with some IEM I'm very familiar with, and I'll let you know.  I can say you won't be unhappy with the sonic performance of either.  My gut tells me the B1 will be the more neutral / transparent amp, with the H3 being slightly v-shaped.
