Nice review. I have these for two months now and they are my day to day gym driver. However I wouldn't classify them as balanced - far from it. They bare the popular V-shaped signature that Sennheiser uses with their entry level and mid-tier models. I'm not a fan of this type of sig at all and rather favor a flat response to mildly U shaped with a hair of extra bass but these buds are quite good for what they are. They re good at keeping you upbeat and energetic while working out.

Yes, far from balance sound. Too much bass - bloat bass.
Low speed, soft and unreal bass bleed to mids.
Most balance TWE to my ear is B&O E8.
