Thank you, I edited the placement of text at the beginning. Concerning IEM and HP advancement: In my opinion both are evolving but HP advancement is mature and calculated. IEM's are newer and with all the driver configuration possibilities it is like the Wild Wild West. New stuff coming out left and right. Not calculated but more experimental. That means there are gems and duds until it all becomes more mature. Also the market for IEMs seems ok with all the new IEMs coming out and the new version three months later after the old version.

I appreciate this review very much! The HD650 was my first set of cans over a decade ago now (holy moly!) and I still hold them near and dear to my heart. I am almost glad to hear these are complimentary to the 650s and not replacements. I do love my sweet honey drenched notes!
