Good read.

Totally agree on the treble, the quality of high frequencies on the HD600 beats most other headphones.

Although I liked the sound, they were way too clampy on my Jupiteresque head.

Great review. It's always fun to read fresh impressions of the old classics. The HD600 and 650 are amazing headphones that still stand up to any of the current favorites.

Nice review.  I'm a little curious about this color variation.  I have a very new pair as well and they are still blue/gray specked as is the image on Sennheiser's website.  The cups are a flat black on mine.  Are yours totally black on the brackets around the cups?
