Figured I'd make good use of it!

I have a pair of these and love them as well. I was also highly annoyed by the complete lack of any cable terminated in a 3.5mm connection. What I ended up doing is purchasing a cable with a 2.5mm plug on one end and a 3.5mm plug on the other. I use a bench grinder to shave down the insulation on the 2.5mm end so it will fit in the HD 598s. Works great and I can select from a wider variety of lengths. On the downside, it does not twist and latch in like the factory cord and it doesn't look as polished. I haven't had any problem with it pulling out.
