Agreed, the HD25 is overrated here. Try the DT1350 instead if you prefer a more refined sonic presentation. (It's expensive though...)

I also agree. I tried the HD25-i-ii's and I couldn't help but think "these sound very boomy...I don't think I would recommend these to anyone".

What type of music were you listening to? I find mine awesome for rock, metal, hard rock, pop, etc. What was your source? They sound better amped than straight out of an iPod, for example.
