Got a 396A coming and a 5-star 5670 coming. The amp was good enough that it was worth the scratch for the tubes. I like it as well or better than my Jotenheim 2. The High gain on the Vali3 and the Low gain on the Jotenheim2 create so few differences, it's hard to tell them apart. That's a stunning acheivement really. The 100V rails do the job. Question I have is: Now that the Vali3 is so good, what is Jason going to do with Asgard 3 and Jotenheim2? The other amps in the Schitt lineup are going to need improving because there's not enough difference in sound to justify their premium price over the Vali3.

Just goes to show you dont have to spend mega-bucks for a really decent headphone amp..
