Great review. Might have to get one for my Sennheiser HD600 and Pono Player. Did this amp improve upon the microphonics of the original Vali? While sleeping this would be less than 2 feet from my head. How hot does the tube get?
Dad has a Schiit Magni and it sounds great. No surprise the Vali 2 carries on the tradition.

@Pokemonn  No, that's the great thing -- no ringing! Even with the Amperex PQ, a tube that rings to hell and back in the Studio Six, it's close to silent in the Vali 2 (unless you tap the chassis). 

Nice review. I had long hesitated between Magni 2U, Vali 2 and Project Sunrise III. Chances are I'll pluck for the Vali 2...
