It's a very valuable write-up for me. I like your review style straight to the point with good useful comparisons. It covered a few of the amps and headphones which I I'm familiar or interested with.

More out of curiosity: Does anyone know how the Asgard does as an all-in-one with something like True Multibit Dac vs a magni/modi stack (modi multibit)?

Re: @Darkestred ... Re: comparing Asgard XX and Bifrost YY with a mini-stack (Modi-MB and Magni 3, 3+, Heresy). I like the larger sized components for my listening nook. I moved my MODI-MULTIBIT + EITR (as an upgrade to my Modi's USB connection [necessary? Meh...]) to my office. I also prefer Asgard's larger volume knob over the teeny tiny Magni potentiometer. My Magni 3 remains plugged into my Bifrost, as I sometimes prefer it to Asgard (dunno why... there's SOME kind of difference in sound quality).
