why would you review something after equalization?
first no matter how much you try and describe the sound ... no 2 people hear the same..
on top you blur any relevancy of sound with EQ..

The fact that no 2 people hear the same is the reason for trying to be descriptive instead of just saying "bass is good, if I like it, you will like it"

No headphones/IEMs sound good to me without equalization. After equalization most headphones have not sounded good to me. If all or most of them sounded good after equalization, then there would be no point in reviewing them, just like you wrote.
Still, you got a very valid point, turgid. My review strays away from relevancy in the measure that my setup differs from other users' sound sources.

You should at least wrote how it sounds without EQ so we readers will have a better idea how it actually sounds. Then you can write how EQ can improve it.
