Design & Build & Comfort
The design of the OH300 is beautiful, shell are made by resin, shell curve is really smooth and rounded, the shell is using the traditional way to made, not 3D printer. It come with the dark purple color, with the brand logo and name in silver front on the faceplate, it has the vent on inner layer of shell. The shells are slightly transparent, is the overall well design.

thumbnail_IMG20201030054608.jpg

thumbnail_IMG20201030054742.jpg

The build of OH300 is solid with good build quality, there are no any gap or sharp edges between faceplate and shell. It has the resin filled in at the nozzle part of the IEM to hold the component, The BA and DD driver are perfectly placed at the place, while the wire inside are neatly organized. The holes on the nozzle are perfectly drilled and divided into two sound bores for each of compound BA driver and the dynamic driver. The Mmcx female connector do not have sign of wear and tear after I swapped few times of cable.

thumbnail_IMG20201030054849.jpg

thumbnail_IMG20201030055108.jpg

The comfort on OH300 are really good thanks to the ergonomics design and slightly angle nozzles. The isolation is slightly above the average with white stock silicone tips. But I do find out the Spinfit CP100 can provide the better fit and isolation.

I would not necessarily emphasize Light on Bass 🤷‍♂️

@DallaPo The bass on it is like the BA driver bass. It lack bit of dynamic driver punch, as I compare it to other IEM in this price range. The bass for me is the reason why the midrange/vocal shine.

Cons: bass could be even tighter
rare emphasis of the sibilants
Intro
First of all I would like to thank HEADTEK.de for this demo. HEADTEK now has exclusive rights for the distribution of ORIVETI products in Germany and this cooperation is a win-win situation for both parties, because the still young company (ORIVETI) is hitting the ground running with its latest products. The OH300 convinces with design, wearing comfort and an audiophile, fun-orientated focus and meets exactly my taste!

20190528_163532_HDR.jpg

Handling
Right at the start, the OH300 manages to impress. Numerous accessories, such as various sizes of form and silicone tips, a round and high-quality leather transport box and a premium cable with 8 cores, let you suspect what could be behind the OH300 already when unpacking. Admittedly, I also expect a decent total package for the price and I wasn't disappointed in this case.

It goes on with the wearing comfort, which can also be convincing with the right choice of tips. Outside noise is greatly minimized and the environment is also largely spared.
You always have a safe wearing feeling, which plays an important role especially on stage.

ORIVETI's design hasn't been very tricky, but what counts here is the extraordinary fit and ergonomics. In addition, some simplicity and modesty are also welcome. Recently I've noticed more and more that the trend is more towards seeing and being seen in terms of design concepts. This applies especially to the cheaper Chi-Fi products.

20190528_163550.jpg

Sound
The OH300 has a sound signature based on neutrality, but with more bass, which meets my taste right away and makes the OH300 a very pleasant, warm-tending representative.

The bass has everything I need to meet my expectations. The bass is also very pleasant to play down to the deepest regions, which makes the bass noticeable, as well as a pleasant midrange and high range punch, without drumming or unnecessarily overshadowing the midrange.
For some the bass may be a bit too rich, but I like it very much within the overall tuning of the OH300. It can also finely resolve fine bass passages and reproduce them tonal correct and true to detail. But it could be even more precise and harder in attack.

The mids are best for me with the OH300. These sound extremely natural, which applies equally to voices and instruments. But what stands out here is the ingenious separation and the positioning on different levels in the room. Voices are a bit more in the focus and are placed slightly in the foreground. This direct response I prefer much more than when they get lost in space. The rest is arranged perfectly all around and everything is easy to locate without any restrictions, as sounds hardly ever overlap and thus create a great transparency.

20190528_163315.jpg 20190528_163658.jpg

The highs are really strongly dependent on the music material. They have an excellent resolution and a very good extension. But that makes them very susceptible to poorer recordings, where cymbals tend to clink or become artefacts. However, this problem also occurs with many other high-end models that have this resolution, so you shouldn't blame them for this. You should only know from the beginning what you are feeding the OH300 with in order to achieve an optimal listening experience. The level of detail and 3D feel are also at an extraordinary level. Sibilants occur very rarely, if at all, and audibility for hours is 100% guaranteed. Unpleasant peaks are also an absolute rarity.

I have more or less already dealt with the stage and separation, but I would like to say again that the OH300 is really a premium product in this area and does justice to its price tag, but also has to. In addition, the OH300 is also fully suitable for stage use due to its transparency, expansion, attention to detail and natural sound reproduction.

20190528_163451.jpg 20190528_163721.jpg

Outro
For me the OH300 is quite expensive, but once invested a very durable and faithful companion in everyday life, as well as on stage! The sound is a mixture of fun, with the potent but clean bass and neutral, with the coherent midrange and treble with its natural sound reproduction and expansion. The workmanship and accessories are as convincing as the sound characteristics.

Is it worth more than 300€? This is certainly in the eye of the beholder and the overall package, but the OH300 convinced me already after the first notes, similar to the Kanas Pro. Here I see a slight advantage for the OH300 as far as the separation of the midrange, the extension of the treble and the more powerful midbass are concerned, which is of course a matter of taste. The tuning of the drivers is also very harmonious and creates a very good symbiosis, without letting them compete against each other, as is sometimes the case with cheaper CHI-FI hybrids. Nevertheless, I appreciate the dynamics, sub-range and lightness of the KANAS Pro more.
I can't think of anything special about the OH300 that speaks against buying it if you're looking for a fun, audiophile in-ear for everyday use, but also for stage use. It is able to meet the most different demands on music without any problems. An in-ear for all situations, Thumbs Up!

Great review! How do you compare it to Tanchjim Oxygen?

what would be something thats all about putting vocals in the foreground, transparency, imaging depth (not width or spaciousness) with a laidback or dark treble thats not sibilant at all but not boring/veiled. rather full/engaging/musical sound :)?
