I haven’t heard those two. To me the OVA shows dramatically what spending $20-$29 dollars more gets you, over the standard budget offerings. It may exist as a unique little IEM in a big crowded world, with a generally complete sound? I think so.
The T1 offers a more delineated treble experience. Also the OVA is offering a more subdued high treble, making up for it with objects sent out into the stage from the mid and lower treble. You will never hear those super high-up and way outside shimmering crystal sparkle-sounds, like what you hear with the T1 Max. The bass is more old school neighbors home-theatre with the T1 Max. The OVA more lower midrange soundstage bass/ but I’d have to demo them together to get that definition clearer. Some how the OVA offers a size to everything where the T1Max is still big but has more details which makes it less congested sounding. There is the wall of tone with the OVA. Both excellent, yet very different in their own way! Cheers!
