Very impressive review. However, I do want to know about the technical part. What is the difference between this SR1A and planar, electrostatic headphones? Please correct me if I am wrong. This is like a pair of speakers placing on each side of ears.

$3500 for the head'phones' and their interface box that steps it down to 0.2 Ohms, but you will need an amp with at least 100W in addition.
