Great review! I’ve had the m15 for about a week now. While I don’t have the ru6 or ua5 to compare, I’ve come to similar conclusions. The m15 is a great balance of neutrality/resolution and musicality.

@LakeOfTheWyles Thank You! The M15 is an impressive sounding little device, which makes me very curious about the future of upcoming USB DAC/Amplifier.

Agreed, powerful dongle DACs with a black background are getting more common. Honestly, I don’t foresee myself needing much more power than this.

Thanks for the review and the nice pics! Andy (#donglemadness) wrote the difference between 3.5 and 4.4 output is nearly neglectible (if not power hungry headphones are plugged in). Would you confirm that or have you not listened to the SE out at all?

@noplsestar Thank you for your nice words. I have listen to both the 3.5mm SE and 4.4mm Balanced outputs. However, there was no significant difference in terms of sound performance, beside a tad more authority in the lows, which is an effect of the higher output power. Cheers:slight_smile:

Nice review! Has the exclusion of volume buttons cause any weird situations with sensitive iems?

@wagyuA5 Thank you! The devices is powerful but friendly with sensitive IEM's like the Campfire Audio ARA. The Cayin RU6 and Shanling UA5 do offer more sensitive volume adjustment, while the volume transition are more noticeable but not on a level that I can say that is sounds weird. Cheers
