By Mid-Fi DAP I mean, the DAP is somewhere intermediate between high priced DAP's and low priced ones.
 
Example: If HM901 is a Summit-Fi DAP @1000$, then QA360 is Mid-Fi DAP @550$, and FiiO X3 will be a Budget-Fi DAP @180$
 
Generally, Summit-Fi products have top tier performance, along with a justified price tag.
 
The law of diminishing returns applies as you go higher the price point.

I just wasn't sure if you classified it Mid-Fi just because of the price tag or because of the sound quality as well, since it seems to be very capable player, same dac as AK240 that cost 5 times it's price, good output etc.  

QA360 is a Mid-Fi DAP (owing to its price tag). Otherwise I can say,

I have compared QA360 with X5, and lately HM901, PAW Gold.
 
I can safely bet on QA360 for its incredible value. It clearly outperforms the  X5, and audibly will put up 75-80% of sound quality of the HM901.
 
Definitely a very satisfying DAP without the need for deep pockets.

I think its intended to be as the core of your hifi rig. Why, it has many outputs and a remote control!
I love my first gen. Qa360 and can answer any questions you have.

Would be a better review if you took some pics navigating through the UI.. looks like a gameboy...
