Great review, especially being pitted against some of the big guns. I really do love the unique look of the 50's shielding! It is hard to describe how the shielding adds a level of dynamics and detail to the PW cables. Thanks for the comparisons. Interestingly, I'm having some problems finding a great synergy with my gear and the Brise 8 Yatono. Might just be a matter of brain burn in. Well done!

This man has golden ears. I can’t speak for the 1950s shielding, but I own the Orpheus, FTS, Brise 8w and OTL, and agree with all the commentary (but personally learned to live with the ergonomics of the Brise, and found the OTL‘s colored tuning to pair well with certain IEMs, like the Xe6).

thanks for the great review. i have an orpheus incoming and this sadly cast doubt. i was also torn b/w brise 8w and the orphy having a tsuranagi on the way. sometimes you just can’t win.
