The feature set is really tempting !!!. How is the sound compared to regular wired headphones like ath m50x?

I have no idea, I never tried them.
But till now nobody who tried them have complained.
I have read that the new firmware improve the sound even more.
And about features, something I missed to write (I will edit now) is that they are the only Music Headphones to support the Low latency version of the Aptx codec (then there are two gaming and one tv headphones which also support that).
And, it is a Class 1 BT device, with a potential range of 100 meters!
For both things you need that the transmitter have the same specs (low latency aptx, and/or class 1).
But still even without a class 1 transmitter, the range of these Plantronics is just wonderful.
If you can get them somewhere where you can eventually return them, do it. Try them!
