The difference is the Space pretty much doesn’t color the sound, so your DAP and IEM will remain in character. The difference from the Penon OS133 is 2X the material for the Space. Thus the Space images farther out than the OS133 and overall everything is bigger, closer/farther. Where the Vocal has that Pinna boost and tighter bass curtailment. Though remember when you boost the upper mids the stage naturally gets bigger due to frequency, pretty much all the time in comparison to a cable which just transmits the character of the IEM and DAP.
What is interesting to me as of late has been that you can use both cables at times on the same IEM......depending on IEM choice IMO. But the IMR BC 2023 sounded great one way with the Space, then put out a different performance with the Vocal........and both were exciting.

Well, remember the tone will be a combination of everything DAP/IEM/Ear-tips. Where the two cables are opposites in many ways. Where the Vocal is pinna centric, and there is way more action inside that whole area of the FR. Where the Space is warmer and has bigger areas in the entire stage throughout, not just the upper midrange. The Space has a smoother demeanor which has it's own sexy character, especially with IEMs like the Serial. Yet the Space is still regarded as transparent with stage. The Vocal is really when you want to exploit vocals with a darker IEM (that normally doesn't have the vocal push) and are looking for the extra details in that area which are fall-out of such a balance.
The Vocal is best with what would be considered neutral and darker IEMs as it’s adding brightness. Where the Space is neutral with some slight copper warmth, just a hair. Things seem clearer with the Space due to increased size instead!
