Very good review, I love my OV800 with the Affinity cable for mid-centric signature. Agree on the majority being said in your impressions. 4.5 stars is a fair score.

Holy Moly! The only thing you didn't compare were the plugs! Very nice to see so many comparisons with other IEMs though.

I haven't given enough justice to Ov800 as it sounds exceptional on a higher-tier source with better cables.
My favorite synergy has to be: LP6Ti -> Chiron -> Ov800 (switches off) -> W1 eartip

But how realistic is such a setup? I'm of the opinion that gear should be reviewed and rated within a reasonable context money-wise. Pretty sure you can find $100 IEMs that steal the show in a 10k setup. But what if those are so difficult to amp that with a sub 1k system they sound horrible? You do raise an excellent point though as apparently they scale like crazy!
