Great review. I get what you're saying about technicalities. Sometimes you can marvel at retrieval, soundstage, imaging etc at the same time lose the emotional connection. Sometimes it's the little things. Very enjoyable review

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this review and I loved what you wrote about putting, at least occasionally, the technical details aside and just focus on the raw connection to the music. That said, your review did stir my my appetite for Oriveti o400, as the only IEMs I currently have are wireless BOSE ones that accompany me for my runs.

@kmmbd : Thanks mate for your comment. Mest MKII are amazing IEMs and I see a big portion of current owners being set for a long time. You will see/hear for yourself if they do it or not. Enjoy your time with them. I encourage you to discover the O400 if you can, too.

@Scuba Devils : Thank you too amigo! Yes, great sound out of the pretty inexpensive O400. I don’t know how much you are satisfied with your Trailli (I bet you love them), but yes, why not giving the O400 a try as they are true allrounder in my book.

At the end of the day, it’s all about which IEMs stay in the drawer and the ones you keep taking out for your listening sessions

@F700: Yes that's what matters most. Which gear pleases you and stays with you the most irrespective of the price and technical abilities, that's what we prefer at the end of the day to enjoy our favorite music.

@F700 Mest Mk 11 is a total work of art.

oh wait O400?!
I had reviewed the O800. Everything is musical with it except the subbass is a bit rolled off and the imaging left me wanted.
O400 on the graph looks even better than O800!

Im getting Bravery (review unit) later. Wonder how these 4 BAs compare
