Just got them today- used them all day and breaking them in overnight now. First impressions are very very positive- musical and precise. Bass mids and tremble are very much to my taste- smooth yet revealing. Articulate instruments and vocals on both male and female excellent. I am comparing these to my beloved Etymotic ER4Pro and a handful of other IEM. The Etymotic definely isolate better and fit my ear more easily- the nozzles dont fit as deep in my ear as I would like. Will keep whoever is interested posted.
Maybe that's his weak point, the insertion is superficial. You have to find tips that fit well and get a great seal. If you can see, in my last photos, I used some silicone tips, which interior I filled with foam tips, to which I previously removed the inner tube, getting some homemade mandarin tips, but bigger.
On the other hand, I'm glad you like them. They're one of my favorite IEMS.
Greetings John & cqtek: Have either of you had any more comparisons yet? What other iems do you have or heard that you believe their sound signature would compare to? Looking forward jot your impressions and comparisons...Thanks
Cheers
Of course I have many other IEMS, but I can't find anything similar to these NS5 MKIIs, in that price range, unless I own them. But I'm sure there must be more.
