Pitty it does not support 2 major codecs: AptxHD and LDAC. It is not the most advanced Bluetooth DAC, because there are already available Bluetooth DACs that support these more advanced codecs. What I percieve as characteristics of most advanced Bluetooth DAC: BT5, LDAC, dedicated chip, impedance switch, high quality sound and build. What is not necessary: wireless charging.

True, but as far as I know there aren't any BT chipsets that support AptxHD and LDAC with BT 5.0 right now, they all use 4.0. Furthermore, almost no devices support those codecs. While it would be nice to have them included or to use BT 5.0, it isn't realistic given the fragmented and inconsistent situation scattered BT standards have put manufacturers in.

And by the way, a dedicated chip isn't better than an integrated one. Not sure where this idea came from, and in fact, dedicated chips are much harder to get working perfectly.

And yeah, and impedance switch would be nice, but I given the incredibly small package the Aqua+ comes in, I can give it a pass for not having so many physical features.
