I love and hate the design at the same time. Not a fan of the carbon look. But the grill probably wouldn't work in a different finish.

I heard these are not as hard to drive when compared to nan 6, he6, and susvara.
But how hard is it to drive the nan 7 when compared to other headphones like Arya stealth, HD800s, and clear?

On the same setting as I just left my HE6 6screw, the Nan-7 is louder.

I can drive the Nan-7 on the same setup amp as my HD800S (a Bryston BHA-1 amp), but I feel the Nan-7 responds more to power than my HE6 6-screw. He6 just get louder (especially louder bass), but nan7 treble tonality...especially the treble...positively sounds different)

Though, it's possible to also interpret this as the Nan-7 being source picky in terms of tonality-synergy and not that my more powerful amp is doing things to the headphone driver's behavior.

I reckon its a current issue (or the lack thereof), not really wattage, nor low voltage issues most high impedance headphones share when underpowered
