Nice review, Like a window that lets me in on their sound. They look like beer kegs lol...Certainly something I would like sound - wise. I like bigger sound stage & that uber bass & extra sparkle in the top end also. Made for me all over it...

Thx, now these go back to the burner. Everywhere you look you read 350 hours of burn in for these to sound their best. They already destroy everything I know of in their price bracket and if the bass tightens up even a tiny amount these will be the giant killers we have all been looking for.

It's becoming clear that the Shockwave is the "reference" model and the TK12 is the fun model.
Even though the Shockwave goes balls to the wall with everything it does. It keeps the right mix of massive everything and then after an adjustment period the music sounds better than ever.
One sounds like a 300+ dollar iem and one sounds like a 1000+ iem.

Your impressions mirror my expectations after listening to the TK12s...you're definitely on point with price values, imo. I'm really impressed with MusicMaker- that guy knows what's up. This sounds exactly what I've been looking for since I started out on Head-Fi. Details, warm mids, Crisp, crunchy bass with slam/impact and perfect decay; sparkle, massive stage, transparency, upfront vocals etc. Why can't I just have everything...well, maybe I can...or get really close!

To my ears the TK12's are 90% of what the Shockwave III can do with clarity, depth, width
sparkle and imaging. And the TK12 is already excellent. The Shockwave goes into custom territory!

The Ear Keggers have transformed into the most neutral, transparent, biggest stage iem I have heard. More sub bass emphasis than mid bass. I'm McLovin them

OK, so here we are almost a half-year later.  What are the thoughts now?  Do we have the same ecstatic review of them; that they're everything we've been looking for since the dawn of head-fi?  I've got the A8 and FX850, as well as the Legend Omega, and I've been pretty happy with that combo, but perhaps its because I didn't realize that it gets even better....?  
Comparison vs any of those?  K3003 or DN1000/DN2000?  ASG-2.5?
