I agree with almost your entire review...tho I found them to be extremely comfortable, so obviously that is just a physical thing.  As for the price...you're right, they can't compete with the heavy hitters at 300 (like my VMODA M100s)...but since Fry's Electronics Prices Matches Amazon, I got them for 178...which is a bit easier to swallow.  Still not sure I'll keep them, but at that price, the playing field is a bit more level.

The Amazon prices have come down lately. I think it's a decent buy at $178.

Okay, so about 3 years have passed since the OP's review and I'm curious to know what changes now that these can be purchased new for under $115?  It seems the biggest complaint was the $300 price tag.  How do they compete at 1/3 the price?
