Forgive my possible near-sightedness, but did you try to push the Stellaris in all the way? They don’t protrude when set-in. They have a totally different sound when fully seated? Also they were harsh with included cable but came around with a pure copper cable and 4.4mm from the Sony WM1Z? You view all the documentation from the company that made the Stellaris original driver as suspect? Edit: Interesting it does say they only reworked the acoustic housing for “a” 14.5mm driver.
