Being a big fan of 7hz Timeless I withhold buying other planar iem since I wanted to be sure that the new one will be an upgrade.
The hype for Moondrop was big; later, the reviews ruined it a bit stating that it is too bright. Well, it is bright but I have heard more bright. Additionally, the sub-bass and bass are superb, the highs are detailed and airy and slightly dominant, the mids and vocals are very well textured and detailed. In technicalities the Stellaris beats iems may be above $1000, and headphones. And, frankly, I do not understand the complaints - foam tips, deep fit and powerful source are a must, balanced source is recommended, and you get an unique performance and one of the best value for money.
The review up is very truthful in the way it describes the Stellaris and I think many fans of headphones will understand it. My slight critics on the FR of the Stellaris is that makes female vocals quite intimate.

Thank you. Of course the review is truly my honest option and history with the Stellaris. This has been an IEM which has polarized the community. And the tuning may not be for everyone, but I was able to dial the tune in, actually with-out trying the included cable first, the soundstage with wide-bore tips are amazing! To me they are an a true accomplishment, they are not perfect but........well you read my review! Thank-you, it is nice to read of parallel experiences! Cheers!

I very much enjoyed your review. Comparing it to other known planars while also describing it make it much easier to make a decision if these are for you or not.
I was somewhat set on getting the Letshouer S12 but unfortunately that is missing from your review (you can't have 'em all). I'll wait until 11.11 to make a decision.
One thing in your review that wasn't clear to me was when you were describing how to make the fit comfortable. I was quite interested in this as some people are complaining about the fit or the the IEM has some unusual weight.

Well the S12 Pro should be here any day, so I will maybe add a section on the bottom as an Edit, to be more complete. Strangely I was using the tips in the photographs which are wide bore, but I do get a fairly deep insertion. People may not get a seal, along with being not tolerant of mid-forwardness and brighter treble? So still the Stellaris is definitely not for all listeners.

Each listener is slightly different as far as fit. But my fit was fairly deep so that none of the weight is hanging out. Thus with balance, the fit was centered (weight wise) and seemed great.
