Really nice review! I'm thinking that my set of 12 Classics was defective if you say they sound like the 11 Neo, my two sets are very different. I wish the 12 Classics sounded like the 11 Neo since the hybrid design is so nice.

@ryanjsoo I just read that little update on the 'manual burn-in' burn in process that was recommended to you. Very interesting. If we weren't located on opposite sides of the planet, I'd send you my pair to compare. But yeah, overall I found them quite similar.

You are welcome They're very different signatures but on a technical level, yes, the 1200EX outperforms the 11 Neo and 12 Classics. That said, I think your average listener would prefer the Mezes due to their warm, inoffensive signature. The 1200EX caters more towards those that like that stereotypical audiophile sound.
