Nice review Midgetguy! pretty well synchs with my listening experiences with the P1. A positive word about their customer service.  I got an open box of the early run of P1s, and one side shorted out from driver flex, and they replaced it even though it wasn't warranted, being open box, then the other driver went out when i tried to use a balanced cable, and both went out simultaneously. after protesting to MEE, they graciously sent me a new set so they could troubleshoot the old set for design flaws, and the new set is far better balanced, and works great with a balanced cable and the PONO and is almost reference quality sound!. While a little more sub bass would be better for EDM and basshead music, for acoustic and well recorded real instruments they are superb!!!  I went MEE MEE MEE all the way home...cheers!
