Great detailed review! Also, do you still have the ATH-CKR10 to compare?

Great review!! Only thing I was worried about with the P1 was the soundstage. Then the sub -bass which is not shabby at all if it tops the DUNU. Then the little details that they talk about working on and refining but you see it in the cables, a great looking case rounded on top and bottom to both hold comfortably and slip in and out of pockets better, the little clip which is the only other besides the JVC clip that has the double spring mech. to bite on to both attach points. Nice signature as I certainly like that balance in between too warm and smoothed over and to clean that is sterile and strips away emotion or texture for the sake of ultimate detail and clarity. Have to admit I was waiting on impressions to see if their first big offering justified the price in today's market. Seems it sure does. Thanks again for the impressive impressions :)

@jant71 : soundstage is very impressive, P1 definitely excels in that, you will not be disappointed.

@Feilong4 : still got CKR10, though haven't used them in a long time.  Signature is different since CKR10 has a bigger bass slam, sub-bass extension, and (by memory) upper mids/treble is a bit smoother.  Definitely not as neutral as P1 which is leaning more toward the brighter side.

Excellent review I might take the plunge, never were a fan of the songbird and Sony totl iems are not as comfy as these seem to be so they look really atractive

@twister6 Sweet! Sounds like a great more-neutral sounding compliment to the CKR10's! Really considering them now!

Great review!
I'm curious, how does this stack up against the JVC FX1100 or FX800?  I found the FX800 to be an awesome Dynamic that's around the same price range. Sounds like the FX will have more pronounced bass, although perhaps a little more bloated.
Let me know if you (or anyone else) has any impressions of said comparison.

so, the CKR10 has more bass quantity and smoother treble. do you consider them a bit warmer than P1? the p1 sounds(by your description) like a soundstage-upgraded gr07 to me.

if it has less bass than ckr10, the ckr9 will be competing then?

Great review! I ordered Pinnacles from Amazon as soon as they were available . I have had IEM's in this price range for years, and I have had cheaper MEE Audio ones also. In fact, The M-Duo is often my preferred IEMs when I'm out and about. They are performing close to the $200 range priced at $50. I also used my Shure SE315 a lot before they died before Christmas. So I thought that if the M-Duos sound like $200 the Pinnacles would sound like $800. And yes, they do in many ways except for extended bass where very expensive IEM's shine even with a transparent and clear mid and top. I compared the Pinnacles yesterday with my friends Westone W60s. I had to spend significant time on figuring out which one I prefer. And I say prefer because they are quite different, but in this case it's good different if that makes sense? The jury is out until I have used the Pinnacles over some time. All in all though these are phenomenal IEM's and a steal at that price.

I'm still not sure. If I had the choice between the two I would probably go for the W60s being a known performer at a higher price, but honestly, the mid and top of the Pinnacles is probably the best I have hear so far like ever! And the little leather pouch? Love it! :)

Thanks for the review ,I wish you compare Pinnacle P1 to Oriveti primacy ? from your memory which one impress you more ,and if you had to choice 1 iem under 500$
Thanks

@AbdullaSaleh : P1 and Oriveti compliment each other, rather then compete. Primacy is smooth, warmer, detailed, while P1 is more neutral, brighter, revealing.  Both are great, and as a matter of fact you can get them both for $500 :)

Has anyone compared this to the W30?

Hey @twister6 maybe you wanna try the PMV A-01 that I recently bought from from Penonaudio. It's another hybrid iem with incredible balanced sound signature with good sound stage and it's really good for price. It's just sad that I can't find any decent reviews about it on the net. The guys from penonaudio said that they like it better than the VSD5 and the awesome MACAW GT100S. http://penonaudio.com/PMV-A-01

Hey thanks for the great review, how does the P1 compare to the Dunu Titan 5? I am lost between the 2, which one do you recomend?

Do you think these iems will be suitable for classical music? If not what would you recommend under $200?

Hi @twister6

May I ask you to give a short comparison between Pinnacle P1 and Zero Audio Doppio? And if they both priced at the similar price, which one do you prefer?
