Thanks for the comment, Alex!  Glad you enjoyed the pictures, got to squeeze out all of the capabilities of the iPhone 6 that I can! :)

Happy to share my experience with the MH30, frix!  The MH30 are beautiful headphones, no doubt about that. :)

Great review I reviewed both the 30-40 and they are both great headphones. The company has great values and are a bunch of good real people. The build quality is some of if not the best I have ever seen.

Beautiful design. IMHO the best looking phones on the market.
Maybe I missed it but can someone tell me where the phones are actualy manufactured?
TIA

Never mind, I dug it up Made in China  :frowning2:

The MH40 was designed and developed in New York City over the last two years; it's manufactured in China.

Great review, but I have two issues with the review.  I wanted you described the balance of the bass, mid, and high frequencies a bit more (e.g. the bass was slightly above neutral or something like that).  My other issue is your photography.  Your macro shots were a bit out of focus, and lighting was a bit uneven and harsh.  I wish you used some sunlight for your shots for more natural lighting.  Overall though, great review!

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Uberclocked - The MH30 is one of the more bassier on-ear headphones that I have listened to.  The MH30's midrange is pretty warm and thick-sounding as well.  With regards to treble, I'll quote what I said in the review: "The treble has a non-fatiguing presentation, but you can hear remnants of it if you focus on it, which may be a little difficult because of the enthralling subbass that may reel you in.".  If you are looking for a treble-heavy headphone, the MH30 will probably not be the most optimal choice.  It isn't the most clear, resolved and coherent signature, especially when compared to the MH40, but it's capable and competent when paired with a coherent DAP like the QP1R and or with overall great quality music that emits from great sounding applications such as Tidal HiFi - Lossless.  With regards to my "out of focus" pictures, if you have a problem with them (which it seems you do), you can send me a Digital SLR camera and I can take more aesthetically pleasing pictures to suit your viewing wants and needs. :).  If you have any more issues, or want further clarification of anything, please send me a PM.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply!  Your description of the sound cleared things up a bit, thanks.
Anyways, unfortunately, I don't have any money right now to send your a DSLR, but I would love to see your incorperate some more sunlight or even lighting into your photos.
I know it's hard to take pictures in a dark room at night, is it possibly for you to take them in the day?  I know it would make your pictures just that much more amazing than they are right now.

Uberclocked - I use lighting in every single photo that I take.  Not 100% of them are outdoor shots, though, but if you take a look at my albums in my profile I have oodles of outdoor pictures as well.  I like taking indoor pictures since the lighting is 100% controlled, and I can manipulate the lighting to how I want the photos to come out.  All of the photos of MH30 that were taken used lighting that was able to be manipulated.  Regardless, I uploaded an outdoor shot just for you. :)  If you like it - great!  If not, you can still send the Digital SLR camera to me so I can take some pictures that will cater to your viewing wants and needs. :)

YES!
Thank you so much!
It looks much better than your other photos!
I'm sorry, but I can't really send you a DSLR.  :frowning2:  The decent ones are a bit WAYYY too expensive for me.
