great write up ! I have small ears and find them very comfortable which is probably because of the oval shaped nozzle - but i dont have issues with Spinfit, Azla, Sprial Dot tips falling off. Though, occasionally, a CP145 tip will stay in my ear. Brighter cables help open them up even more. I have had mine for 6 months, and love the speed, full/lush-ness, bass resolution, timbre, lack of sibilance & comfort, which all make them enjoyable to listen to for long periods.

Thank you! Criminally underrated gems. I wish they had more exposure. I only tried Final E type and Sony EP EX11 tips. Finals stayed on but Sony always slipped off. Maybe aftermarket tips with firmer, gripper stem will do the job.

Thanks for the review and bringing this to our attention :) I am wondering though, how do they handle violins that go high in the notes, do they have enough treble and sparkle to portray the higher violin notes? Video starts with what I mean.

This sort of violin notes will not be an issue at all, very much within the capabilities of TYP512. Very high notes (basically air region where most tracks don't have that much information anyway) is where TYP512 is slightly limited but not 'choked' like many dark sets tend to be. (Dunu Zen/ Zen pro and EE legend Evo for example). 512 has more of a DITA Perpetua 'esque treble. This track has a nice bass undertone which will sound bombastic on 512
