i have actually had this for a long time now. My favorite portable headphone. They might be considered bass-lite, really they are more a reference neutral type sound than anything. I love the build quality on these. And the bass comes in a little more once they break in!

Thanks for this review; the M-50 looks a possible pair-up to my existing Producer USB side-address condenser mic, which packs an integrated headphone amplifier of 1W x 2 or so.
