I know you said not to comoare or let you choose because its in the honeymoon period. But among the s12 pro vs zetian which would you choose ?

I am personally looking at the bass between two, but I dont want the treble to suffer because of it.

The S12 PRO bass is so clean, where it’s fast and talented. The Wu is more organic sounding plus a little more bass focused, yet both are extra bass as far as planar IEMs are concerned. Man, I have had people PM me and I recommended the Wu, then weeks later they got back to me to thank me. How cool is that? But now between the two? Sorry I don’t know? Buy them both to be sure. Sorry, for some reason I had to say that? Honeymoons are real, that’s why their called Honeymoons!

The S12 PRO has a slightly more premium feel in hand due to the CNC work. It’s really a masterpiece of modern day craftsmanship, where the Wu is only partially machined and the rest 3D printed. The Wu sound is thicker and slightly heavier, but the S12 PRO faster and more nimble still bringing the low end. The S12 PRO low-end scales way up with whatever quality you feed it.

Thanks, many complain of the mettalic timbre of the s12 pro. That is what's bothering me.

There is an ever so slight “something” but it doesn’t bother me. I’m fully aware of the off BA timbre with BA devices, but here it’s different. But it is personal as to how much of such phenomena is noticed. Truly I concentrated to try and perceive it, and all I can say is everything together is simply tilted (to what sounds like) up, slightly “up”. But nothing that ruins the feelings and emotions of music. It’s very slight and across the board in the twist, if at all. If anything, the rest of the technicalities make-up for any issues with great entertainment! What else are you going to find that does what the S12 PRO does for this kind of money?

Also note that when something is popular there is that chance that more folks will have their say as to issues, when at the same time there are also many more quietly happy owners, that you don’t read about.
