Good review apart from not mentioning precise price. I only understand that they cost around $200

@tresaistevadels

Price point is HKD 1488 which translates into ~ USD 192 with the current exchange rate (for the universal fit model).

With my more recent reviews, I decided not to mention the price point, which has the thought behind it that users who are interested in the product dig deeper to find more information, impression and reviews about the product and get a more broad-banded view/impression.
With reviews of others that didn't mention the price or any specs, I found myself to dig deeper and look for more information and impressions - but not everybody is like me and the more I think about it, it is probably the best to add the price to my reviews.

Thanks for the input, I'll update that, so it is easier for the readers to classify the product.

Actually, without mentioning the price, based off of the appearance and the description I would guess it to be $300-$400

Knowing its only $200 is pretty sweet

It's hard to find a decent review of LEAR LHF-AE1d and yours is most welcome.

Can you say that this Lear is better than Titan 1, Fidue A73 and Dunu 2000J?

@naddm

First off, the LHF-AE1d is really good (imho, it could even cost US$100 more and would still be worth it and be far from being overpriced).

vs. DN-2000J: the DUNU is on a whole other level (see it as three-way speakers vs. fullrange speakers). Different tonality as well. Multi-driver vs. single-driver (and dynamic driver vs. Balanced Armature) is imho just no fair comparison.

vs. Titan 1: I would say definitely the LHF-AE1d -  better coherency, sounds more natural, more versatile. Resolution is (from what I perceive) better as well. The Titan 1 has got the bigger soundstage, but the Lear is no slob either and has got an excellent instrument separation and -placement. Especially in the mids, the Lear is the clear winner (in terms of resolution). What the Titan 1 does probably better is the bass speed which is better on the Titan. Though, the Lear's bass is excellent and has got a really good control (and to me, the Titan 1's bass sounds a tiny bit blunt at times). I actually (really) like the Titan 1, but the LHF-AE1d is just better.

vs. A73: hard to say, it is an unfair comparison - single-driver dynamic vs. dual-driver hybrid. Soundstage: (+) Lear  l  bass speed: (+) Fidue  l  bass body: (+) Lear  l  coherency: (+) Lear  l  naturality: (+) Lear
For me, it is just no fair comparison as I am biased with BA drivers and would always consider them as superior (if implemented properly). The LHF-AE1d is really an excellent dynamic driver IEM (and has got the better value than the A73).

And as a final note, I should have rated the LHF AE1d 5 stars, as 4.75 is usually rounded up. Gotta change that.
