great video review. the kl-ref will be a custom iem (if you purchase them), but the one you are trying is a universal fit demo, so that people can get to try them on. the dynamic drivers are both 9mm each, enclosed in a special housing to place them in series so as to minimize any distortion. the dial is to tune the bass volume, from ref (minimum bass volume) to 100 (max bass volume).
 
anyway its not as hard for you to get it as compared to us (who are residing outside of the land of the rising sun). and there will be a price hike from april 2016 onwards (from 125000yen to 135000yen).
