Which cables does anyone recommend for the Nanna 2.0 for a upgrade?

Also would a cooper or silver wire go best with the Nanna 2.0?

I'm not convinced yet that either is better than the other but I chose a silver cable because I have read that a good silver cable will help bring out details and copper tends to bring out the bass. I did feeel the Nanna has great bass but the upper frequencies are a bit safe and rolled off but not enough to bother me. That's a loose description though and again I have not really proven the theory to myself. I have heard cables make a discernable improvement in clarity but I believe it had more to do wither better quality connectors and/or copper in the cables. I had a CEMA RX series with a combo copper and silver mix that improved clarity over the stock cable of an IEM. When in doubt, use a mixed cable in my view.

I use a graphene+silver wire by NICEHCK called DarkJade 8 and recommend that for just about any IEM - always detailed without ever over doing the bass or high regions - a balancing act that makes me think graphene is the way

I'm not a big fan of the color of the graphene cables I've seen but maybe I'll have to give one a try.

Nice review. Hope you're fully recovered.
May I ask you what amplification did you use? Thanks

I used the Fiio Q5s, Cayin N3PRO for portable and the RSA Apache 2020 version w/ 4Sparkos Pro 2590s, Topping A90, Pass Class A Custom Amp, DAART Yulong Aquila II but my favorite was with the RSA Apache as it is my fav to date - DAC is a Mojo Mystique R2R DAC and Topping D90.

You have Yulong Daart Aquila II! Do you recommend it? How is it?
I know no one owning it, but it's on top of my wish list. I would listen to it with mid-high range closed back headphones (Denon 7200; Focal Celestee and these Nan-Na)

Would you also recommend this IEM to bass lovers? Has it enough space and deepness?

i just seen ur message- for the $ the DAART Yulong Aquila II is a solid option for one box solution- its nearly as good as a top of the line set up under $2000 from a few years ago - it blows away a Wyre4Sound Intimo which sells for $1500+ and better than many SMSL stuff out there for sure. Its a warmer sound than the A90+D90 combo of topping - hope that helps. By it self tho the D90 is better as a stand alone dac but needs careful matchingh and a ton of wire upgrades to all copper to sound warm like the Aquila II

Thank you so much! One last question: I am a bass lover, do you think the Nan-Nas are worth? I am one inch from clicking "Add to cart"to BOTH (Yulong and the Nan-nas)

For home/portable use nanna is worth the asking price but it is amp dependent when using portable

So what about people saying its treble is rolled-off? This issue tends to get better with amps?
John Massaria
John Massaria
They need raw power and for me I changed cables to carbon and they excel in detail for me / any more detail and the experience wouldn’t be as engaging

@John Massaria What cable are you using for this Nanna? I'm thinking about getting the Kinera Dromi cable when my Nanna arrives. Kinera had told me that this is their best cable for treble and resolution. Dromi is copper + silver 6N OCC.
