I actually got to your review only because I was researching the latest and (supposedly) greatest IEM's Chopin, EA1000, Truthear Nova etc. But after reading your review, the Evoke has entered the conversation. Can said Evoke still compete (and even win out) compared to newer IEM's today?

The Evoke is still one of my favourite IEMS to this day. This weekend I was on a trip and it was the only set I picked out of the 100 I have. But it's true that I don't own any of the ones you mention to compare them. Are they better than the new models? surely not, but they still offer a sound of unquestionable quality.
